I love this weather , it makes me feel calm and want to stay inside and watch a movie and just relax. I wish it would snow sometimes in Santa Maria, that’d be so cool!

So I had a question and it was who gave money value? like how is it that someone decided to give a price of paper and metal circles value ?

So far in Hamlet I learned that it was really the uncle who murdered the king and the uncle was feeding lies to the wife and poisoned the king by putting poison in his ear while he was sleeping. Then the ghost of the kind cake to visit Hamlet and told him everything that has happened and that it was actually murder by his uncle and told him to keep it a secret and to basically give his mother mercy.

SO in Shakespeare’s play I think it’s shady that the mom went with the uncle that’s shady

I had to think about this title for a little bit because isn’t it ‘same people different words’ but maybe I’m on crack but I can talk about this topic so I think there’s a group of people that are fake like they tell everyone the same thing but are different to others?

Some high school students need to be told what to do all the time and reminded or threatened when they don't get the job done.  Independent work can be challenging, but I like it because i can do what i want to do or need to do like to do my priorities because doing independent work will help me in the future. Doing independent work makes me feel like I’m my own boss because no one is telling me what to do like “ Read pages 1-20” or stuff like that instead i can do what i need to do without anybody telling me.

I think what makes a story so compelling like you can’t stop reading it is the suspense or the rising action of the story. Like say the old Nancy Drew books, those were my favorite in elementary school, would always have me on edge because I loved the mystery in those books. Personally for me what keeps me reading a book is the mystery of it and like a plot twist , something you didn’t expect that was going to happen.

Today, my parents actually let me drive the car! My birthday is in December and I’ll be turning 18 and so around this time my parents are giving me more responsibilities and trusting me more. So now  I’m driving EVERYWHERE. To my basketball practices, picking up my siblings, to the grocery store , the bank , and go school. Today, later today I’m going to study for my written test because I’m sure I can ace my driving test. Then i might have practice , might not , hopefully not because I need a day to rest.

She was tired all the time and she always wanted to sleep. She believed in everyone she met that all the people in her life and always gives them second chances bc she believes people make mistakes and they don’t mean it bc it’s in the moment. One day she was with her boyfriend and her boyfriend and her got into a heated argument and he said some hurtful things to her and she didn’t talk to him for a long while and then he apologized and they had a moment and she told him i love you and you’re my best friend and i forgive you because you’re my best friend and i know people say things they don’t mean.

To invest in me I’m saving up money for myself , getting seasonal jobs and looking into college requirements and basically stressing. BUT also I’m investing in self care for myself and taking care of myself and loving myself so I don’t lose myself bc I have a long future ahead of me.

Soooo tbh I had a shitty but good childhood, some childhood trauma but whatever I still go through life but dang I AM TIRED of people treating me like property like they’ll only text me, need me whenever it’s convenient to them , it’s RIDICULOUS. My life has literally been about that but again I’ve had good memories like with my family , the old times when everyone would get together and be one big family but that doesn’t happen anymore but there’s some cool moments now just rather go back and restart my life so I can take what I know now and wish I was just born with this knowledge.

My literature analysis on “To Kill A Mocking bird” and honestly i’m going to need more time actually analyzing the whole thing. I have this ha it of reading something then after I’m like what did i just read and I have to read it like a couple of times again and that’s just to get the details out but from one read, there’s this little girl named Jean but her nickname is Scout Finch and she learned how to read before she even went into school and she starts talking about the past and started talking about how her older brother Jem broke his arm and that her mom passed away when she was only two but Jem remembers most of his memories with his mom but gets sad, Scout’s dad, Atticus is a successful lawyer. Then they go to Boo Radley and i don’t know i think there’s more to him. I’m going to reread again and get some more details out like some that i missed and post more about my literature analysis on this book. Honestly I like this book how Scout takes you back to basically how it all sta

Ughhhh I didn’t know you can’t hate something so much , pre calc gives me pimples from all the stress it has given me literally. I did so bad on my individual test, I’m hoping to god that I atleast pass at the end of this school year.

So I’m reading “To Kill a Mockingbird” bc i want to read something different and i’ve heard so much about it that it’s so good and that everyone should read it so i’m going to see for myself .

Honestly being the oldest out of your siblings is hard and annoying because I literally have to do EVERYTHING for these kids and I man I should be but they have to learn things on their own kind of like how did like learn how to tie their own shoe or learn how to wash their laundry or make yourself a sandwich but literally I'm like their second mom because I have to be responsible for them. I have to deal with a 6 year old boy and he's the youngest and the most spoiled one out of me and my sisters and he's a mommas boy so he basically gets whatever he wants and ughhhhhh he's annoying but sometimes he okay lol. But being the oldest I can barely go anywhere because I have to stay home while my parents are at work or they go out to dates or to the movies so I really can't do anything butttt soon they can grow up lol.

My group and I were talking about how the pope is supposed to be the most safest person to be around and you just feel secured around him , but there had been abused that hasn’t happened under his supervision & i thought it was funny bc it’s dumb bc why would there be abuse under the most holy-est man alive on earth? it’s crazy

So in class we read the modest proposal and to be honest it was weird reading that bc i didn’t get some of the concepts but hearing basically eating children is enforced is cruel and weird.

I think it’s good to excercise your opinion but sometimes not to cause some opinions can get ppl mad and then drama but if you’re feeling like you don’t give a f then state your opinion and stay strong with it

I’m back and thank god I got this class again for my senior year, now that i know what’s going on in this class i should get through this class even smoother than last year.

So there has been beef between two rappers, Pusha T & Drake, Drake made a diss track talking trash and it was pretty good , the beat was good and everything. Then Pusha T came back and went ham on Drake. He exposed Drake saying that Drake has a son and never told the public and his name is adonis and Drake hasn’t came back but there is a bunch of memes on social media now about it. ITS CRAZY

Now I’m going to post about the masterpieces presented in class! so first up was Churro and he talked about music and how he has played many instruments but wants to focus on guitar. •Maria Carmen presented about being nice to others and told us a story of her helping a girl who was being bullied and stood up for her. •Carlos’s masterpiece was on BMX bikes and he shared why he likes it because it feels free to him. •Jackie’s presentation on Mars was cool! bc i’ve been fascinated with planets bc they just look cool. •Diana’s masterpiece was on singing and she used to sing and she’s been thinking of trying out for the talent show senior year! •Yolanda’s masterpiece on music has been my favorite bc she brought something to us that we can all relate too and she has good music taste and all of us actually engaged in the conversation.

Dang 3 more days of junior year then off to senior year then off to college!! It went by so quick ! I feel like freshmen year was just yesterday and now I’m so close to being a senior. I’m excited but scared but we’ll see what happens. Plus I’m ready for summer! for the beaches and sleep ins plus i signed up for the gym so i’ll be heading the gym during the summer.

Dr. Preston’s teaching was cool ! wayyyyy better than any other english teachers on this campus. The learning is more open and opens up your mind to new things and it’s cool bc we’re not reading a book then answering 8 questions about it after then another one after and the same thing over and over again. So this class and course was so cool. Especially the masterpieces were cool bc i learned a lot more topics.

As for my masterpiece in class , I talked about multi verses & it has always made me think if there’s another me on another Earth but as a boy version or a blonde version or even a dog version! I first was intrigued by this was when i was watching the flash and how the different Earths and flashes there were it made me think A LOT. Well we can’t really prove it but shoot it would be cool to meet me.

Sorry I’ve been off this for a while , i really have no excuse just the fact i procrastinate and i’m stressed but these past couple of weeks we’ve been doing masterpieces in class and i’ve been so interesting in some of them and i will be posting all of what they said or summarize what they said and post it because i think it should be shared with others.

•The theme of the pedestrian is to be aware of technology •People don’t walk in 2018 because they’re afraid of the streets and getting shot or beat • I think self-driving cars are cool and you can get away with a lot of things if a car is driving itself •I think all advanced technology leads to more isolation because people are so into their technology rather than interacting with other people

What I see in literature is when I read a book the first thing i notice is the tone or mood of what the author is trying to portray. Like in Great Gatsby the tone is like lonely but party like.

The first thing I can tell when someone cares about another person is when they ask other people about that other person because that shows they want to know about that person but maybe to nervous to go up to them and ask. Another one is that they drop everything for you and care what you have to say and respect your choices , friendship wise or relationship wise. Caring for someone means that there’s no boundaries on what you can do for a person.

So in class , Dr. Preston gave us a couple of prompts on what to write about and i chose ,  The notion of the American dream figures prominently in this story.    How do readers define the American dream?   Moreover, is pursuing the American dream necessarily a good thing?      My answer or thought about it is that i think the American dream is that to be rich or have parties in a huge mansion and just feel wealthy. Readers define the american dream as living a luxurious life. In Great Gatsby , Gatsby is living the american dream. He throws parties and has girls over and his vehicles and has a lot of money.     Living the american dream can be a good thing in some cases. If you’re living in isolation but have a lot of money, you can have a lot of money but feel lonely and that’s kind of Gatsby’s case but he created an affair with Daisy to not feel lonely and to feel loved. He also had Tom but like he didn’t really have anyone living with him. In a big mansion and just him by himself

Today in class, we had options on what we can do and i chose to find a job because i need to apply for a job because i’m going to turn 18 this year and turning into an adult and i want to support myself financially.

There’s so word goi around  like kids frim every school are going. to walk out peacefully out of school in protest for the shooting in Florida and people have asked me and some say they goi g to walk out but they don’t know what for.

In class, my teacher Dr. Preston, put a video on of a girl named Emma who went to the Florida school and she was showin. a lot of emotion in her speech and she pulled out amendments and and facts about previous hum laws and taking charge. I think Trump should just be a better president instead of sending condolences like a little b*tch instead of actually doing something about it .

Lets talk about Gatsby telling Daisy to tell Tom that she never loved him....thats coldddd. I mean I guess if you're trying to right your wrongs but thats kinda harsh even for Gatsby actually never mind tat sounds like a Gatsby move. Hurting another man dang might as well shoot the man. girls are always in the middle of something.

A little earlier today I was scrolling down my twitter feed and I saw a post that was talking about Tupac being alive still..... well lets talk about that. First, I wasn't born when he was killed but I think that he is still alive.. yeah sounds crazy. why fake your death? but think about it he's was mixed in with some wrong people and might've actually wanted to kill him so his friends might've planned a fake death? The twitter post said he gave signs in is music and posted sightings of him recently and that he lives in Cuba. Well how won't anybody recognize him? he was a revolutionaire in rap music. Did he get plastic surgery? and rearrange his face? its possible but I don't know its a theory and someone might just have to go to Cuba and see if they run into Tupac over there.

Whats up with the weather lately? like really it was around the 80s last week now its in the 30s like what the? Mother Nature needs to make up her mind or someone made her mad.

Whats up with the school shootings lately? theres already been 18 this year since January 1st. Its crazy! Its kids killing kids or crazy people killing kids. We need gun control because kids are getting a hold of dangerous weapons to cause harm.
