Man literally, when i was a freshmen and all those seniors telling me " Highschool goes by fast" I thought it was bs. Cause how? how can high school, being in an enclosed area for 7 hours with immature teens & too much work and too much drama, go by so fast? I thought it was IMPOSSIBLE! but now I, halfway through my junior year , am thinking and saying to myself "damn high school really did go by fast and next thing you know , soon i'm going to be applying to colleges and start adulting...... those seniors weren't bullsh%*#ing.

Who else is ready but not ready for winter break? or is it just me ? Personally i'm ready for winter break like just not having good to worry about homework or just school in general but at the same time i'm not ready because then i have to go through all those late nights doing homework , study's for finals, and trying to pull my grades together by the end of the semester. Man hope the GPA gods give me a blessing this semester.

In our table discussion we were talking about Jessica Parra's blog entry about the poem and we thought she really brought out the true meaning of it.

The book I chose for my literature analysis was "In Cold Blood" , i chose this book bc i usually go for books that are non violent but i wanted to switch it up and go for a book like this and wanted to go for a book that's out of my comfort zone for reading. Whenever i read a book that's kind of boring i just forget what i read before.

To understand what Emerson is saying i pick parts of his writing and take a moment to think and see if what he's saying is actually true you know then when you finish thinking you're like "oh shit he's right!"

number ONE : create a little bit of conflict to make it juicy. •bring in facts •talk about theories or what has been heard from other sources.

1. I had a basketball game one day and i was aggressive that day and just mad so i took all my anger out on the court and i hit this girl and kept going at her bc she kept messing with me soooo i pulled her hair and i got suspended from the next game. 2. For a family wedding , I was supposed to get most of the decorations done and i decided to illuminate an area where a picture of the couple was at and it looked beautiful. 3. My mom ate my sisters last candy bar and accused me and i got mad and said she had noooooooo right to accuse me you little 6th grader. 4. I went to a show in Vegas when i was 12 years old and i went to circus circus and there was a man there that hypnotized the whole audience. 5. My uncle went to jail for 5 years and when he went in , he was sad and wasn't himself but then after those 5 years , he transformed into a better man , a happier man.

Today i felt pretty good or a good person and i don't if it's because the new guy i'm talking to is treating me so good like wayyyyyy better than my ex orrrrrr today is just a good day for me and anything i do makes me feel like a good person. Today I helped a girl in class with math and she got her work done by the end of the period.

How can I get the right resources to start my own business?

 Who else hates getting needles get poked inter skin? I HATE it . I had to take 5 shots today and my lorddddddddddddd i was a little girl. Doctors scare me, if anybody can invent a medicine or something alternative than getting shots please let me know.

My SMART goal is understanding more about what an author is trying to get through to you in a story that they're telling . I know I'd get the hang of it when i go with the flow of knowing what the author is trying to get across in a story. I'd read more stories like "Young Goodman Brown" to get it. I'd want to master this bc then i'd understand what the author is saying. I'd want to understand this by the end of my junior year.

 Young Goodman Brown was a dynamic character because in the beginning of the story it seemed that he had a happy life, with his wife Faith and just living s good life but then when he goes for a walk and goes into the woods he slowly progresses and changes into thinking dark things and justnis depressed and starts to see people different from how they were when he was living his happy life before he went into the woods. I think he experienced a dream but he took what he experienced into his actual life and saw things different from then. How i can tell that he changed is in this quote , " A stern, a sad, a darkly meditative, a distrustful, if not a desperate man, did he become, from the night of that fearful  dream  ", another quote is " Often, awaking suddenly at midnight, he shrank from the bosom of Faith, and at morning or eventide, when the family knelt down at prayer, he scowled, and muttered to himself, and gazed sternly at his wife, and turned away  " , these

    I’d like to talk about people, and why our society talks shit about each other or bringing down each other and why people can’t mind their own business. Me, as a person when I’m around a person and I’m just around and I’m just there and hearing it and they just start talking crap about a person then the next thing you know they’re walking with that same person that they were talking crap about and acting friendly like what?! Weren’t you just talking shit about that person like 2 minutes go when they weren’t here? Like telling other people their secrets that they trusted you with like why are you going to backstab someone that was there for you and trusted you? They choose to trust you and see you as a good friend and you just go on talking shit. That’s fake.     My BIGGEST pet peeve is when people can’t mind their own freaking business and try to bud into or listen to other peoples business. faith - Faith is like a belief you have threshold- Threshold is like the result of something tarry- Tarry means for me is to like resolve-resolve is like to solve discern-is to distinguish  martyr-For me it means to kill mirth -to express in laughter catechism- Catechism is like a class for learning about god pious-is unlikely to be filled frenzy  -Fenzy is like crazy or that's how i see the word frenzy 

I think that Young Goodman could've just ran back home bc what if he stays and turns evil or something bc the devil.

What's up with the weather like it was fine then all of a sudden it feels like Vegas and we're all melting and sweating in our sleep, gross. Few days later it gets cooler then today, Friday, it's gloomy and kind of chilly. C'mon weather make up your mind.

After reading "The Earth's on Turtle's Back" is that you don't need to be physically strong to be successful at something that all you need is to believe in yourself.
